The design features a detailed workshop-manual illustration of the vast machine installed beneath 62 West Wallaby Street, where sheep are washed, dried, sheared and their wool processed, spun, dyed and knitted into finished garments. With its network of ducts, fans, shaving arms, drums and automated controls, the Knit-O-Matic is classic Wallace engineering: ingenious, elaborate and not entirely without the occasional malfunction.<\/p>
